Where or when or even why did facials become a thing? I've never really understood why anyone would want to have someone ejaculate all over ones hale and pace.

Hm, as a tired trope in porn it is not attractive to me - however as a real life experience it can be hot and exciting.
Everyone is different of course but personally I do not find any sexual act inherently "dominant", "submissive" or "degrading" - I think it all depends on the context and the dynamic with the person (that's why porn has such a downside - it perpetuates those negative stereotypes).
