I totally feel for this poor man. One of my close friends recently went through this trauma. In his case it was dinner from the freezer, when he came home from work. His wife didn't work. She was heart broken and he was a free man when he had little choice but to leave. He use to be a chef as well. |

"I mean he could make his own meals. I work a very physical job, go do 90 min in the gym and still manage to make the tea when I get home."
He's working full time. She is sat at home all day. I'm not being funny but what don't you understand? |

And? When my wife was on maternity leave I still made the tea. |

Your mates seem to have little luck with their women. |

Unfortunately women suffer the same fate too. |

"I love a pot noodle
You probably seen this coming a mile off but what kind?
Chicken and mushroom, obvs.
You disgust me."
Not the first time a guy has uttered those words to me. Probably won't be the last. |

With actual soy sauce and not the watered down sachet, right?"
The whole point of a pot noodle is I don't need to think of other stuff. So no, just the packet crap will do me. |

The curry one used to be my favourite when I was younger. I don’t really eat them much these days though. |

I don't blame him.
I'd be mad if a man sat at home on his arse all day and gave me a Pot Noodle for dinner.
I'd stop giving him money and buy myself takeaways every night. He can watch me chow down while he eats his Bombay BadBoy. |

"Why couldn't the man make his own instant noodles ?
Instant noodles EVERYDAY!?!?!
I mean really? "
Maybe she had a health issue? Like depression or something - whatever went on in their marriage isn’t really any of your business to be talking about behind your friends back.
Koreans eat instant noodles everyday, also rice everyday….. |

You clearly trust your colleagues a lot more than I trust mine. It would either be eaten or have cocks drawn on it within half an hour. |

Apologies.
It seems there are two men. Your colleague with the frozen meals and the ex-chef with the Pot Noodles" he has a lot of friends with a lot of issues .. |

I don't think a cock doodle would spoil your Pot Noodle"
You say that but when I lift it towards my mouth to avoid spillage my whole team will be laughing at the cock going near my lips.
Yes we’re grown men and yes this is still funny. |

"Tell us more about your mates relationship with his wife .. how long were they together .. did they have kids ... who cooked the dinner that was frozen ? "
They have been married for a number of years. Very happy. Unfortunately they grew apart. They both seeker marriage counciling. But to no avail. He'd be off to work at 6 and home after 6. I wouldn't be happy either if I was in his shoes. |

You do realise being married doesn't automatically make you a sl*ve to your spouse yes? Why presumed it's her job to cook him dinner, is he incapable of making it himself? |

Nothing wrong with a Pot Noodle (nuclear war food). Like Macdonald's or KFC, desperate food for desperate times. The man should have been thankful he was not married to Victoria Beckham. Grilled fish and vegetables every day.
I like cooking and I am good at it. However during the weekday I will cook nothing that takes more 10 minutes. Beans on toast, no kale, no ingredients from the special aisle. In 3 minutes and your a better cook than Jamie Oliver will ever be |
