Hi
A question for the bicurious or bisexual ladies and gentlemen out there.
At what stage does bicurious turn into bisexual? Does it always happen?
Please don't shoot me down, I'm quite intrigued. |

The cynic in me feels that ‘bicurious’ means “I’ll be bi for the night if I think your partner is hot and it gets me into a threesome with her”
I don’t describe myself as curious or bi, but I’ve met couples who are and had a great time with them both. I guess I just don’t rule anything out. |

Well bicurious would mean you not tryed it but have thoughts about trying sexual things with the same sex
It turns from bicurious to bisexual ones you tryed it and then
It’s ither for you or not
If it’s not then your not bi
If it is for you then you go from bicurious to bisexual

I would describe myself as bi-curious. I find some particular kinds of women attractive sexually, and have often thought about kissing, touching etc. but the thought of doing explicit stuff with a woman has the complete opposite effect and turns me off. I’ve met women from here for a social and had an absolutely great time, with zero sexual chemistry, and then I’ve seen certain types of women in everyday life/on social media that have made me instantly think sexy thoughts. I think bi-confused would describe it just as aptly x |

I was once curious. It didn’t happen op.
My confidence was high, comfortable with everything and yes, was very intrigued to a cock took me by surprise too.
The feeling is gone, I can’t explain it and never thought of myself as Bi. But if someone would have asked of have said I was curious and it developed into being straight again |

Add Biplayful into the mix as well, some people just waiver in between curious and playful without ever moving into bisexuality.
That's the great thing about self appointed labels, they can change in an instant |

Despite both of us being listed as bi/c, I can't help but nod along to this haha.
I think a lot of the genuinely non-straight people list bi/c because they're somewhere else in the sexuality spectrum that isn't reflected on this site - so bi/c catches it better than bi or straight could. That's us, anyway. |

I tend to avoid profiles that say bi-curious. It makes me feel like a bit of an experiment and I'd rather have some one who is fully into and confident with it. |

Brilliant explanation! I am completely straight but have been intimate with women - I don’t look for it but still love womens bodies and find them attractive. For me, it’s just an ‘in the moment’ thing. |

Bi Curious is just having thoughts and Bi Sexual is having sex with both sexes, A lot of guys and couples will put bi curious because they cant be honest with themselves and accept they are bi sexual and are not comfortable with others knowing that |

Why do you think you are straight if you have sex with women? |

I have, a couple of times but it’s not something I actively look for & it wouldn’t bother me if I didn’t again. To me, bisexual would mean to consider being in a relationship with a man or a woman. I just don’t have a huge barrier with getting jiggy with women |

Ok.
In general terms, there is no difference between having bisexual desires and taking part in bisexual acts.
The belief that you’re not bisexual until you’ve actually done ‘stuff’ is erasing a persons sexual identity. A straight person is considered straight, even if they’re a virgin, yet bisexuality is seen as performative for some reason.
Desire and attraction are important points of bisexuality, if you’ve got the interest and are attracted, then you are bisexual.
This whole ‘try before you buy’ attitude is often born from a place of trepidation and societal shame.
I understand that for some, they’re interested, are experimenting and that label fits that at that time, however, even 99/1% attraction still puts you on the Kinsey scale and still fits into the bisexual umbrella.
It frustrates me when people that feel attraction are told that because they’ve not had relationships with multiple genders, haven’t had sex with the same gender, aren’t 50/50 in their attraction, that they’re not bisexual or are made to feel that they’re experimenting. They’re not.
Bi curious is a nothing label, it’s a passing through point that doesn’t need to be there. I’d much rather see a Kinsey scale style fluid indicator because most people’s sexuality is just that; fluid |

I'd rather see no sexuality tick box at all. It's irrelevant. |

I have received a few messages from couples with Mrs being bi-curious, why would I want to put myself into the dynamics of a couple who are testing out the water? No thanks, I need to feel the desire from her mouth as she greedily eats me….No messing about.

Surely when you're no longer curious, you are either bisexual or not.

I think the obvious literal meaning would be bi-curious means you think about it and bisexual means you've done it.
However, from reading this, and my own feelings on it, it's definitely subjective in how we personally categorise it.
I've been sexual with guys in threesomes and TS' too.
I've never seen a guy on the street (even if they're what you would call attractive) and thought anything about them sexually and/or wanting to date them.
I get messaged by guys on here all the time but I've never engaged with them to meet nor do I want to.
Those thoughts just don't enter my head so in that case you would class me as straight which isn't the case as I've been sexual with guys before.
Yet if a hot TS messages me then I'm all over meeting
We can label it however we want to down but it seems it comes down to our own terms and how we feel in the moment. |

So true! I don’t want to be someone’s tasting platter for their husband to see if they just ticked a box?!
I would much rather be their full course meal knowing right away what they wanted on their menu
Lol

"I'm bi in only so much that I like oral... Not full on sex,so bicurious fits that better imo than bisexual"
This is also why I chose bi curious though currently only like giving o, not receiving |

I was curious and I tried it a couple of times and discovered that I'm actually straight. Although I have no issues complimenting fellow men on how handsome they are and I quite often (mutually) flirt with the gay guy at work. |

When feeling develop. Bisexuality is the attraction between members of either gender. It's nothing to do with anything else.

Bicurious = you think you might like sex with someone the same sex.
Bisexual = you had sex with someone of the same sex, liked it and want to do it again!
Ok, next question! |

Hannah was originally noted here as bi-curious.
For a long time she had felt attraction to women and had got as far as kissing with a few, but hadn't met anybody that made her want to go further. Then a friend of hers was particularly flirtatious and kept pushing things further until eventually it all kicked off and they had sex. It happened again a month or two later.
When we set up this profile, she didn't know whether that was the only woman she would want to be with. Maybe it was a one-off. She said she couldn't feel honest noting she was bisexual until something happened with another woman so we put bi-curious for Hannah.
We ended meeting a super-sexy lady through Fab and we all fancied each other. It all kicked off one evening and we had a threesome. The two ladies didn't hold anything back from each other.
Sure enough, the next day we changed Hannah to bisexual on our profile. We even announced the change to our threesome friend, who said "Welcome to the bi club!"
This is in no way disappointing. |

All of the labels are subjective, letting each of us find one that we think matches our perception and understanding of ourselves. Humans are almost infinitely complex, including our sexual interests. Trying to fit billions of people into a tiny number of labels is not realistic.
Others' understanding of the labels will probably not match our own anyway, so it's better to ask someone, if it's a major thing for you.
As bisexuality is far some about romantic and sexual possibilities, we're typically trying to make it just about sexual potential instead.
There are people who can have sexual contact with others but no sexual attraction - think of porn actors, escorts etc.
I think it's very reasonable for people to remain bicurious, even after many sexual engagements with another gender - they may have not clarified whether they have sexual attraction at all.
Of course, we want things to be simple. We're lazy. We should give people free reign to find their own way. |

I was bi-curious because I found women attractive, and had enjoyed some dabbling but not done much, then I had a strap on put on me, followed by a sexy woman being placed on it (totally innocent here ), I enjoyed fucking, licking, getting very up close with her so much, I’m now bi-sexual |

Have you ever wondered how sexually enticing that could possibly be with a straight guy being placed on the end of your strap on. Innocently of course…A guy who’d love to get up close and personal with you?…… |
