Notes on an execution by Danya Kukafka - about a serial killers last day on death row
When women were dragons by Kelly Barnhill - allegorical novel about feminism/patriarchy in 1950’s America
The long way to a small angry planet by Becky chambers - a good sci fi that’s much more focused on characters than just action

I’m currently reading ‘I’ll be gone in the dark’ by Michelle Mcnamara - I’m a true crime dork! Im finding it very gripping so far. It might be different for someone who isn’t as familiar with the case or hasn’t seen the documentary. A solid 4 so far.

Have been reading Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky for close to two months. It's the longest book I have read. But I love it so far. Will surely give 5 out of 5. |

Currently reading the Every by Dave Eggers - it's the sequel to the Circle.
Basically, it's a Silicon Valley satire about the dystopian consequence of the big tech-surveillance capitalism industrial complex.
But more entertaining than I've just made it sound. |

"Meditations, Marcus Aurelius. Can't rate it, haven't finished it. But I'm enjoying it
Him "
I have read that. I understand stoicism as a philosophy but I personally found that book getting repetitive. Maybe I will enjoy the book at a different point in my life. |

Happy to say I've read a couple of the mentioned titles. The Thursday Murder Club was a great debut novel, happy to also recommend, 4/5 for me. Haven't read The Midnight Library yet by Matt Haig, but loved How To Stop Time by him.
But for fans of time travel or sci-fi, one book I cant recommend highly enough is The First Fifteen Lives Of Harry August by Clair North. I loved this so much, so clever. |

"I recently started The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. To my shame I've never read it before.
And am reading the third Percy Jackson book to my daughter at the moment. That's a good series "
I’m actually kinda jealous of you getting to read HHGTTG for the first time! |

"Currently reading Stephen King - The Outsider.
Bit slow to start with, but just getting interesting. 3/5 so far!"
His newer stuff has dropped off in my opinion
Love most of his work but really struggled with his last few |
