Any other fans of The Expanse TV show on Prime? Watched it over the last month and really loved it. The final season looked a bit rushed but it was still good. Both the science fiction plot and the political plot were intriguing.
Chrisjen Avasarala is one of the best female characters I have seen on screen. |

"What's it about? "
Far in the future, humans have colonised Mars and the asteroid belt. This results in three factions - Earth ruled by the UN, the Mars and the belters(People living in asteroid belt). They all don't like each other for various reasons and are in the brink of war. This is shown in first episode.
Then something interesting happens which you need to watch for yourself |

Not seen it, but just copy'n'pasted this for ya....
Hundreds of years in the future, things are different than what humanity is used to after humans have colonized the solar system and Mars has become an independent military power. Rising tensions between Earth and Mars have put them on the brink of war. Against this backdrop, a hardened detective and a rogue ship's captain come together to investigate the case of a missing young woman. The investigation leads them on a race across the solar system that could expose the greatest conspiracy in human history. |

Just watched the first series (or season.) I like the novelistic narrative and the amazing visualisation of other worlds. I need to watch the next series to see if the Cervantes link can be maintained, as much as the scarily prescient analogy to the Covid pandemic. |
