The continued decline of mild seasons is welcome but hot summers and cold winters is just a phase, live long enough and we will go back to dull and dreary all year round, terribly British thing rain in summer |

Every single year the doomsdayers come out saying "that's summer over" in June.
June is always rainy and changeable. So is every month in this country.
And then come the August heatwave everyone starts whinging again.

Steve do you want to know the new kind of hell I experienced today? So yesterday I decided I'd be a sun goddess and get that golden glow going. Embrace my glory, feel a bit sorry for the neighbours who had to witness my bikini clad self.
Today. My nose has peeled. First forkin' time ever.
So I'll take the cold because peeling is a fresh kind of hell for a mixed race woman. |

Yesterday evening , doors , windows open . Wearing just pair shorts. Very hot and uncomfortable. Tonight doors , windows closed, still in shorts and a t shirt. But thinking of putting on something warmer  . |
