"Is there a food or drink that you got so sick from that you can't eat or drink again?
Cider, Pernod black, etc? "
When I was little I had a chilli con carne which made me ill - never touched it again lol |

Port, I once drank a restaurant dry of port on a friend's 30th birthday. Woke up in the morning sat on the back seat of my car covered in my on vomit, lucky to have not ch@cked to death on it quite frankly. Needless to say, I had God's own hangover for the entire day and never to be repeated |

Southern Comfort! 16 y/o. At a Scout Jamboree in Cheadle Hulme. A fellow venture scout sneaked in a bottle of SC which we discreetly downed while sat around the campfire. I was rather ill that night to say the least Just the smell of it these days is enough to make me retch! |

Ravioli - spewed my load as a kid eating it (eaten it before no probs!) never touched it since.
Lettuce/salad, stuck to the roof of my mouth and got stuck when I swallowed and ch okqed on it. Will only ever eat that between bread or roll layers.
Vodka (with diet cola) - absolute nuggets drinking that - helluva hungover before the evening or function ended. I recall crawling along the edge of the dance floor and a hallway to get to the loo because I just could not stand. Always remember everything when I'm d*unk!
I now drink whisky - no issues |

"I walked into a distillery in Scotland about 10 years ago. That was enough.
I walk past one at least once a week and quite like it but I can see why some wouldn’t "
I walked straight out again! Never ever again |

Whisky turns my stomach. It didn't always do that though and I did live the smell of it.
I drank it straight one night when I was about 14/15, it went down and then straight back out. I've tried it a couple of times since, just in the name of science but it is still mingin. |

Food wise, shellfish and kidney beans, had food poisoning with both.

Fried rice from a Chinese gave me food poisoning. Also roast pork.
Weirdly years later I had episodes that lasted from 5 minutes where I felt weak then fine again, and each time it happened the length of time increased, when it happened for 8 hours I was on the floor of my flat too weak to move, I decided it was time to see my GP, who then sent me to an allergist who did a blood test to test the normal allergies, mushrooms, shellfish, tomatoes, eggs, and pork - pork came back as moderate allergy. I was told to stay off it for 6 months then reintroduce it… I can now eat bacon, ham etc, but I’ve never touched roast pork or pork chops since. |

Baked beans - eaten while I was ill as a teenager and came straight back
Tinned tuna in brine - had tuna mayo on toast while feeling bad. Felt worse. I always buy it in oil or water now.
Beef burgers. Too many bouts of food poisoning. I'll only eat chicken burgers now. |

"Loads, but in particular, chicken, pineapple, vodka, gin, varied fruits. Awkward bugger
Don't mention pineapple on here mate.
I remember it well. Summer 1984. Sick as a dog with it "
It must have been back if it still haunts you. |
