There's an app you can download to see petrol prices in your area. Which can be useful if you travel about and can stop off somewhere cheaper.

It was 1.86 on Sunday but up to 1.96. Only fueling station in town so I guess they do as they please. Unless I go to the service station out of town where it’s probably 2.50

Just seen diesel for £2.05 and petrol for £1.89 cheapest diesel £1.90 and petrol £1.79 around here.
