Something just popped into my head recently and it made me think. I thought back to my previous visits to a club and thought of all the things I did like having a drink and a chat or dancing on the pole and now think, am I doing these things for me or am I just trying too hard to be liked and make friends? |

I think if you're asking yourself those questions, then you are looking for at least a slight change.

If doing those things to make friends makes you happy, then I say go for it! We all have to step out of comfort zone and personally, I think almost too much emphasis has been placed on being self-autonomous and being only happy with ourselves but sometimes you need that from other people too. Don't sweat it and if you do make friends at the end of then it says a lot about how positively you come across  |

Thinking back to these past months, I dont think I've made progress in making new friends. Saying hello to a few people and dancing like a monkey (not literally) doesn't seem to be doing anything. Maybe I am just trying too hard  |

I think you should pat yourself on the back for what you have done, take some time each day to appreciate the efforts you made regardless of wether you’ve reached your goal. Apparently it gets easier |
