A lot of people laugh after they say things. I often interpret it as them being slightly embarrassed about what they've said and giving themselves the option to say it's a joke or they're laughing before you do. |

Many young people dont use punctuation. In fact, they find it rude and off-puting! Instead, they send lots of messages to break up thoughts and emojis/acronyms to add colour.
Some of younger friends have told me that the way I message is weird!!
There was an article on a study about it a while back, but I cant remember where I saw it or how to find it...
(Lol)

"Just intrigued as to why some people seem to put Ha Ha at the end of every sentence.
It's as if they are using Ha Ha as a full stop.
Makes no sense at all in most cases."
This is what I do. Haha |

Well it's pretty obvious really, in person we can use inflection to give our words and sentences the correct meaning.
Over text, it is not always obvious just by our words if we're joking or using sarcasm. So a haha or a lol at the end of the sentence clears it up.
Is it annoying, a bit.
Does it add clarity, yes.
Do we have to just deal with it and focus on the vibe and the content, yes.
