Yep. Everyone has their likes and dislikes and if they dont like my tattoos thats cool. Its when they get ignorant af about them and play it off as their "opinion" that pisses me off. But the block button is handy for that |

I think some tattoos can be sexy. Lots are tacky though, look cheap or silly. They make me think the person is overly impulsive. In my experience girls with lots of tattoos are the type I’m looking to date. They can be a lot of fun though |

I suppose it depends on the art & placement of the tatt? Tweetie Pie or a dolphin wouldn’t be much of a turn on but then I find chemistry is the key.. I do like tatts on a woman tho |

Don’t take my personal opinion on “some” tattoos and my experiences with people so personally and it won’t feel like that. |

Preferences are a sad thing to have, you’re right. Us men should just accept what we get. How silly of us. |

I agree but some of us think. “You have a great body why spoil it with loads of tattoos”. But yes do what makes you happy for sure |

The good ones are walking art without doubt.
Myself not keen seeing random tats plastered anywhere with no thought.
Some of the art work is just amazing on some people. |

I'm attracted to women who have tattoos even though I don't have any and don't think I would. I think some of the thought and effort put into them look amazing and if they wanted to keep going then that's completely fine. I think the point it may become unattractive to me is face tattoos because facial attraction is a big thing for me |

Come on! You quite deliberately phrase your comments to get to people and then when it works, you tell them off for it. You're more than capable of wording things in ways that don't wind people up on other threads. |

If my very fair opinion of tattoos and my experiences with people that have tattoos upsets someone, that’s on them
I didn’t say they were horrible, or that everyone with them is X or Y. It’s my personal opinion and my own personal experiences.
If that triggers someone, they should ask themselves why.
As they say, don’t take things so personally |

Sadly it is. Some men do have turn offs. Some, like your messenger, have some that expose their own mental weaknesses.

Hang on. Is it only couples and women that are allowed preferences? Tattoos, facial hair, body hair, smokers, height, six pack, a willingness to pay for a hotel room....
I've nothing against tattoos in principle, I have one and am thinking about a second one. But, is it possible that a specific tattoo or degree of tattoo could put me off someone? Yes, I think so - I don't find facial tattoos attractive at all, for example.
So, to OP - yes, rejection can happen. |

I saw a comment once and I tend to agree with it.
Tattoo’s are like cats, the more you have the weirder I think you are."
Oh. That would make me think I need many many more tattoos (which are designed in my head - haven't had the time or the money to get them done so far but they are gonna happen) |

I like to see tasteful tattoos that are done to perfection
Hate the poor quality butterflies and birds or even names
Other than that the amount is up to the individual and if it turns you off then just move on |

Would you walk up to someone in the street,, start a conversation and then comment on their appearance whilst saying it does nothing for you sexually?

No but the op hasn’t put in what context it was said. If someone randomly messaged her and said that then yeah they’re a dick. If they were discussing turn ons and turn offs then they’re being honest. |

Everyone is entitled to their views on whether they find tattoos aesthetically pleasing or not, but I find some peoples attitude towards someone else's choice to have tattoos to be a useful barometer of their attitude towards agency over your own body. |

Ok, you've assumed that OP is referring to an IRL conversation, and I've assumed that she means a series of messages on here.
Reading back, it's not clear, but I agree that offering unsolicited appearance feedback in your example would be spectacularly rude. |

Some of my tattoos are tacky and daft, so it does put some people off but doesn't really bother me tbh.
I like tattooed people but not a deal breaker, it used to be quite a good way of telling who was "alternative" but not really the case nowadays and I actually have to converse with people instead |

Tattoos like everything in life is personal preference. Some will like them and some won't. I don't ever judge someone on their life choices because it has no impact on my own life! Accept and embrace or ignore, make no verbal judgement and walk away.
For me personally, I love a well drawn and well positioned tattoo |
