I was working over there two years ago I was there 16 weeks we were digging it in st peters not far from the airport its a nice island good people even better when the sun is shining but not being able to drive faster than 40 mph does start to play on you lol ide go back to visit no problem but I couldn't live there hey if you like your sport check out the sports bar its on bond street I think not far anyway and good luck I hope it works out for you ps you are now a beany lol Jeff |

The Jersey scene seems to be a bit better than it is here in Guernsey, met a couple and a single guy from there and busy chatting to another single guy.
Jersey is nice but no where near as nice as Guernsey but then again I am biased lol |

i worked on guernsey doing heating systems in the glasshouses for the tomato & flower growers and lodged nr st sampsons then st peter port and loved it there!,met a nurse from the princess elizabeth hospital and went out with her for a while but she mved back to jersey,i went to vist her there a few times and after she got married i did eventually go back thee for cycle racing and loved it,both are lovely places to live for sure!,anyone living in channeel islands is dead lucky.
i hope to go back to both islands next year!.   |

This has to be one of the best things about the islands both Jersey and Guernsey, they are safe, well as safe as they can be, not alot of crime and it quickly gets dealt with if it does happen.

I went to Jersey for a long weekend a few years ago when quite a few things were going wrong for me and i needed to get away. It's a beautiful island and had a fantastic long beach to walk along. St Heliers is a lovely town. I hope you enjoy your new life there x |
