We’re going to a pub restaurant today where no advance menu exists. It all depends on availability, what looks good etc so every sitting varies. Im quite excited.

I wonder what they will serve…?

There are quite a few restaurants here like that, often a fixed price menu of ten to fifteen euros for two courses and some wine, normally a choice of three starters and three mains on a blackboard, always seasonal local produce. One place has no memu at all for Sunday lunch it’s like going to your grandmas house with a hundred family members you have never met, again fixed price and they just feed you, course after course after course, it’s so much food, and as much wine as you want.
