in my previous job I had to work every other Saturday morning, on top of 5 x 9.1/2hr days in the week.
When I got home I could never relax and was glad to find alternative employment.
There aren't many jobs around at the moment, and although I didn't like my previous job, I was gratefull they took me out of the dole queue.
Keep looking though, and something will come along, just as it did for me |

I have a second job in a pub, that for the last 4 years has meant working Saturday afternoons, the need ended a few months ago as the boss has taken me off the rota, plus I no longer do a close shift ie bar shuts at midnight, we leave when we have tidied up and all the customers are gone, however my body clock has not sorted itself properly yet so was awake at 6am |

Wouldn't mind as much.... But I'm 85 miles away in Birmingham.....
I DONT WORK WEEKENDS...!!!
End of rant... Have a good day all.... |

I could have earned quite a bit by giving up my weekends and work, however, I would not sufficient time to relax and recharge my batteries, and I will suffer the following week.
Therefore, no weekend work for me, and I too am enjoying a lazy weekend.
