With plastic now being discovered in Antarctic snowfall for the first time. Having already been discovered in animal stomachs.
How long before it enters living tissue at micro cellular level and humans and other species adapt and become part plastic. |

"I mean our individual cells absorbing the plastic and changing the molecular structure of what we are made off."
No, cell mutations due to foreign bodies, particularly carcinogenic ones would be called cancer. |

It's not looking good to be honest. Big business knew how bad plastic was for the environment decades and decades ago but decided to put profit over a healthy planet... |

And will continue even with all the "green" government push, no government will actually hold corporations to any sort of account |

There's no political will. We're up against multi billion pound lobbying and bribery by big business. I was involved in environmental stuff thirty years ago and I've seen very little real change sadly |

Unfortunately that's not the case. Life can't adapt fast enough to be able to cope with such rapid degradation of the environment. We're facing a similar ecological crisis to the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs. Kind of sucks really |

Cell mutation has been occurring with the advancement of technology just because we can’t see it with the naked eye doesn’t mean it doesn’t occur.
To give you a small example when the microwave was first introduced in the 40/50’s it was surronded with huge negative press because of the radiation that was and is still used to heat food. Which studies showed and still show affect people, just like phone laptops etc |
