What do you think of Tyler Perry playing Alex Cross on the big Screen?

Just googled him as never heard of him. Aint he a bit young to play Cross? I really like the books and visualised him as someone more mature with more life experience

Morgan Freeman played him in Along Came a Spider and another one that I can't remember.

I always visualised Wesley Snipes as Cross in the books.

Morgan Freeman too old. Always visualised him as bout 45-48, but no matter who plays him will always have my own mental image of what he should look like !!

Denzel Washington would've been the right age imo - although the Alex Cross books started going a bit off the grid - not everything should be that fantastical..

Michael Connolly or Archer Mayor ars my favorites for police procedural books atm.

Ah right - I have a couple of his to read although I can't remember titles. I only read Archer Mayor recently and hadn't realised he'd been around since the end of the 80's
