Everyone has their reasons & I know that but how come there are so many profiles that aren’t at least photo verified?

Is it just me that thinks that kind of thing can be done within days of setting up the account?

I get that meet verified is more difficult as everyone has to start somewhere …

Should there be a cut off, if you’re not photo verified within a week the profile is locked by admin? Can this be done? Suggested?

Thoughts?

Some people just don't want to be I guess so your choice if you interact with them or not.

Why do you think anyone should be photo verified?

It's not a baby sitting site. It's a site for adults.

Baby sitting? I was just asking peoples thoughts because I wondered if it would make others feel better knowing they are communicating with a verified person.

There are people who have been here for years and long before photo verification was a requirement. Their meet verifications say much more than a photo verification ever would so they just haven't bothered. It doesn't add anything at that stage.

You can quite easily photoshop a picture to meet the requirements so I don’t think it does give any extra safety so I don’t see any point in requiring a verification pic

Personally, knowing it's so straight forward to visit the numerous clubs across the UK, just to accrue verifications etc to indicate a genuine profile.

Those who have a profile and fail to gain such credits in a timely fashion is a red flag for me

You can’t message unless you pay or photo verify.

Anyone who pays is, presumably, suitably invested in actually getting some sort of return in that investment, but I guess paying is considered more trustworthy than what can still be a fairly easily faked photo verification process.

Anyone who doesn’t pay, and doesn’t verify… well they’re probably here to lurk, perve, and stalk in my opinion.

But it doesn’t affect me, I wouldn’t contact anyone unverified by at least 1 method (and I’m not talking about user verifications) above, and they likely won’t be able to contact me, so…

Yes I agree that everyone should be photo verifed in order to begin their path here. There are too many fake profiles pretending to be women or pretending to be a couple. At least if photo verifed you'd know exactly what they were.

Another reason is that some people want their privacy. Sometimes websites get breached. They might not want to risk their face pic with profile name being leaked.

It's so easy to set up more than one profile and verify 'yourself', meaning veris mean diddly squat unless you have a few. As for photo verification, it's very easy nowadays to photoshop an image and I'm certain admin don't have either the time or inclination to deconstruct an image to check for tampering.

Personal choice who anyone chooses to meet, based on common sense and communication.

I clicked on a profile in local updates that had just been photo verified as a woman.

I immediately recognised all the pics on the profile as belonging to someone I used to chat to a few years ago but I knew she was still here so I contacted her to tell her that someone was using her pics.

She thanked me but said none of the pics were hers to start with anyway so it didn't really matter much.

To the OP, Admin have said that a PV is not going to be compulsory for all.

https://www.fabswingers.com/my/filters

The best thing to do is use filters to filter out non verified and report anyone who you think could be dodgy and Admin will investigate and according to non believers they will just block people from each other and do nothing about the report.

The last bit isn't true so ignore that I will paste onto the next post what Admin do really

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

Admin

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

--

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
