My manager told me the other day that I’ll just just have to “suck it and see”. I hadn’t heard that one in a while and I always struggle to keep a straight face when I hear it Are there any other phrases which just sound naughty?

"When someone has a spit roast barbecue at their wedding reception I always do a wry grin.
Also when something bad happened at work and I was told to 'suck it up' or 'swallow it'. "
Oh yes spit roast is always a classic.
Suck it up or swallow it? How can anyone say that with a straight face |

Years ago we were selling your house and the estate agent told us it would "go like a train". She used several other similar phrases and I often wondered if her colleagues just didn't tell her for the comedy value |

Isn't it supposed to be "suck it up"? Suck it is awfully suggestive
I've had a funny moment at a bookshop in the first year of becoming actively kinky - standing there and thinking "oh, so many books about CBT, no way" and then of course I quickly realised it is about the other CBT. Which I know full well myself Just goes to show how immersed one can become |

“Suck it up” is one but “Suck it and see” is also a phrase
Oh yes working in Psychology means CBT always comes up in my mind as the kinky type! Also, any discussions of “self-soothing” take my mind to the gutter too |
