Why do woman totally ignore your messages or winks, I mean it is not that hard to reply back with a no thank you, if someone walked past you and said hello you would not just walk past and say nothing so why be so rude!!

Given how many hundreds of messages many women get and the grief they then often get back if they do try to politely say no then it’s hardly surprising, and I’m sure they don’t appreciate the sense of entitlement that just because someone messaged them they are obligated to respond!

Why should they?

Do you reply to every man who messages you with offers you've no interest in? Who've totally ignored your profile, are clearly barking up the wrong tree yet feel it their duty to convince you to meet them?

Do you answer ever call from a number you don't know, who chances are are trying to either scam you or get you to buy something you don't want?

Do you always rant and make assumptions without reading the FAQs?

Depends on your definition of rude - people complain if you delete a message and equally complain if you say ‘thanks, but not for me’

Can’t win really - I tend to look at the profile and if it doesn’t grab my attention I just delete the message

Do you think people have the time to reply back to every message or even want to and open themselves up to potential abuse from people that can’t take a rejection?

Because they follow the norms of the site as set out in the FAQ.

I think it's incredibly rude to not understand the culture you find yourself in. And then insisting that women (or anyone) behave as you think fit, given completely different circumstances.

Generally they don't just whack their cock out when they first meet you and say hi or have 50 other people saying hi at the same time.

I use to reply but I've always had people try and change my mind so now I just delete.

Unfortunately the few that would take no for an answer are treated the same way.

You do just get used to it and realise it’s not rude, it’s just how it is. A code so to speak.

It’s a little soul destroying when you put effort into a message and your instantly deleted but you just have to accept it.

I see it that the women and couples on here must get so many messages that it’s borderline impossible to respond anyway. We are the majority and we need to remember that really

I think your analogy is a little skewed. I may well smile back and give a nod at someone greeting me in the street but if every time a woman went outside (like logging onto the site) she got several dozen people approach her, many of them suggesting reasons why she would want to fuck them or why they want to fuck her or complimenting her on her tits, how often would you expect her to reply to them?

You aren't owed anything. Stop being so entitled and you might get responses.

Myself I prefer to see a straight read and delete will tell you they are not interested. Although it’s nice to hear back with a no thanks but that opens them to abuse from the odd ego driven idiot.

So as a lady on fab they sometimes are on a loose loose situation so you can understand why no reply.

I just think if someone puts effort into a message for it to be totally ignored is just plain rude, that’s why I think the wink is a good thing as people would not have so much wasted time writing pointless messages

I must admit for a woman to have hundreds of messages a day must be quite daunting, and I am sure that they don't know we're to start sometimes. We all have a life outside of fab( possibly some don't). Personally I do not get too cross if I don't get a response, life is too short.

Apart from some people have a lot of messages and simply don’t have the time to reply to all. You have no idea how many people can’t take rejection though and resort to abuse or but I… it just saves all the grief and hassle. It’s in the FAQs anyway

If you get 100 people saying hello as they walked past every day, you might get a bit bored with it. If they start complaining you don't say hello back every time you might get pissed off.

To use your analogy though, what some women get on here every day is 100 men showing their knob and asking for a shag.

Saying hello does not warrant a reply. Stop being so entitled.

It's very easy to take it personally, but you shouldn't. Couples and single women receive hundreds of messages on here.

The difference with saying hello in person is that there wouldn't be 100 other guys saying hello at the same time, so not really comparable

But sending a wink does not really take much time to reply to, where as it does to put some effort into a message, hence why there is so many copy and paste messages!!
