Where you changed your opinion of them upon re-watching it?

I'm re-watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Charles annoyed the hell out me but now I love how overt his comments are and find him hilarious

Velma from Scooby Doo. Used to fancy Daphne more (typical young lad - putting looks before substance) but now I think I prefer the geek. More down to earth and less up her own arse

Love Charles but I felt the same way about Gina the first time round.

Not a TV show, but recently rewatched top gun and found myself agreeing with everything ice man said, whereas I was always on maverick's side watching it growing up.

I also enjoyed Gustavo fring when rewatching breaking bad. Hated him first time round.

I agree with you on Ice Man, I really disliked him when I was younger but thought he made sense when I rewatched Top Gun last week.

Mick Carter in Eastenders.

I thought he was a bit naff, but he's grown on me after shagging Danny Dyer.

Negan. Fucking Negan. Who’d have thought I’d be rooting for him after everything he did.

I only watched up until series 7 and finally gave up on it. Loved Negan from the start but all the other stuff I just couldn't watch anymore

I'm only watching Walking Dead to say I've finished it, I've invested too much time on it to quit now...

Castiel.

So dreary. Awful. Dreary. Sanctimonious.

But *that* scene with the pizza delivery kiss? I rewatched it (the whole thing, I'm not a perv) and it changed my view on him entirely.

One of my favourite scenes in the whole show

Agree with you on Castiel though, he definitely got better as the seasons went on

An obvious one but Carrie in Sex and the City was always problematic, but on re-watching she's far worse than I realised.

In The West Wing, CJ and Josh were my favourite characters on the original watch, but on watching it recently I really love CJ and Toby's friendship.

Randall in the early days of This Is Us is amazing. In the later episodes he can come across as arrogant at times, and though he means well he always thinks he's right- Sterling K Brown plays him brilliantly though, and is possibly the best actor in the whole thing overall.

Bree in Desperate housewives. I liked her way better the 3rd time watching it even though she’s not my kinda person at all. I felt for her.

Also Tyrion in game of thrones.

Bree was my favourite of the 4. She was so unpredictable and got the best lines. The dinner party where Rex tells everyone they're in marriage counselling is hilarious. Smile on her face, total Bree rigid composure... 'rex cries when he ejaculates.' Haha

Yes! The development there was excellent. I also think the older women characters were also brilliant. The actress whose character cut her own finger off to frame the guy who murdered her sister was hysterical, but she was equally brilliant as Bebe the agent in Frasier.

Most of The Sopranos but in particular Christopher Moltisanti.

I found him so obnoxious at first I'd have whacked him myself - but - as the show progressed I (as did most viewers) began to really root for him. And the others too.

Clever writing and characterisation and not easy to pull off.

Loved Bree everytime I watch it, her and Orson were one of the best things on that show. It was Lynette for me, as I've got older her character has irritated me more.. gets more infuriating everytime I re run it.

I lost interest when it caught up with the books.

Linda Cardellini in a PVC cat suit in the second live action movie helped with that.
