Can you trust someone who doesn't put gravy on there Sunday roast
Jump to: Newest in thread
When I still lived at home many years ago I really didn’t like my mom’s gravy so I ate my roast dry.
Now if we go out for Sunday lunch my mom always says “Tell them you don’t like gravy”, I just smile inside and think to myself “No mom, it’s just your gravy I don’t like”.
I can never tell her though! |

I can’t, it’s my rather formidable mother that we are talking about here |

"What do you think of people who put jam on their Yorkshire puddings? put them in the stocks "
Grim isnt it? I actually make 36 Yorkshires when we have a roast so 4 of them can have some with jam after. I have to leave the room
I wouldn't trust anyone who doesn't have gravy, unless my husband has made it |

Always did that as a kid, loads of Yorkshire puddings left over, if you were still hungry grabbed a load with some jam. |

"Was out yesterday at a pub for Sunday dinner . Noticed the table next to us had a gravy boat. No never ladle it on . "
It’s the Devil’s work when gravy is missing from a Sunday roast. I’d call the Witchfinder General and set up a ducking stool, the fiends |

I will have to try that. Cranberry jelly is basically jam anyway.
Mine prefer strawberry jam "
I'm gonna try that. |
