Been nervous about going out while dieting - drinking is fine as I can just stick to diet and vodka but it's the "fuck it" attitude to greasy food at the end of the night/binges when I get home that I get when I'm d*unk that I was worried about.
Pleased to report that even though I was absolutely steamed last night I did NOT cave and get a Maccas, even when my friends kept offering me their fries because I was the only one without food. AND I went straight to bed when I got home. AND to top it off I was 1kg lighter today |

"Well done.
I'm not sure how many calories the McPlant is but my sister says it tastes nice, as an alternative to the meat ones."
500 calories still. I like the filet o fish which only has 220 calories. |

I assume you were drinking vodka and some form of sugar free mixer?? That or fact you probably hadn't eaten all day?. No-one can lose 1kg in an evening by not eating while drinking alcohol

Yeah some of it would have been dehydration obviously. I also got my period so probably dropped some of the water I was holding to since ovulation.
But I also had a full body training session yesterday morning, only had time to eat one meal and worked the fuck out of the dancefloor til 3am so not absurd to think there's at least a little fat loss.
Yeah my drinks were sugar free |

"Its probs the loss of water through dehydration " medically any more that 830ml of water loss overnight will overload kidney function causing massive problems to internal organs. The claim of 1kg overnight is medically absolute bullshit.

I’ve cut 2kg of water weight over night for a competition so maybe I’m a medical anomaly?
Pretty much all my buddies that compete do the same too, maybe we’re all medical anomalies?
In fact plenty of fighters will cuts 8-10kg for fights and rehydrate. Maybe they are medical anomalies too?
Where did you study medicine? Could you get them to take a look at me? I’ll drop 1kg any night you want. But you have to supply the red wine |

Also I've dropped 5kg in total this week, mostly water due to cutting out carbs on Monday and getting my period. No organ failure yet |

Alcohol (ethanol) has a higher energy content than either carbohydrates or proteins, per gram. Consuming alcoholic drinks will contribute a significant number of calories in a given day, irrespective of the type of mixer. |

Off the top of my head, is it 7 per gram? Can’t remember, but I also remember they get burnt off in a weird way that makes 7 not quite right?
For reference, if I’m right, fat is 9 calories per gram, C&P are 4. So alcohol is up there when it comes to racking up easy calories |

Ethanol = 7kcal per gram
Carbs and proteins are both 4kcal per gram |
