Just got letter from hospital with my operation date! 14th December I should be getting my brand spanking new hip so should be out in time for Christmas, unfortunately means I won't be able to book the Nile Cruise for the New Year that I wanted to go on, but reckon I might book one for back end January/early February depending on how my recovery goes
Got my pre-operative assessment on Monday, got a list of questions as long as my arm regarding recovery times, sex, time off work, sex, visiting times, sex, driving, sex, physio, sex and sex
Think it's time to hit the painkillers and get as much playing in between now and 14th December as humanly possible  |

Whoop Whoop! 
I saw one of my elderly neighbours the other day who has not been out unattended for the best part of the last two years. He was fairly racing along with the help of a cane and when I mentioned it was good to see him out and about he said he'd had a new hip recently.
If his recovery is anything to go buy you'll be bonking like a bunny in the New Year! |

I got my back done and was brought forward. I've also got my rehab appointment rushed through, so cant blooming wait!

Good luck Hels... I'm a SW consultant so I'm sorting cover out for while I'm off, was back for 1st time this week as had cover for last 6 weeks while I've been badly - sooooo missed my members, pissed off that I'll only be back a few weeks then gotta be off again, but once I'm sorted I won't be missing again (have never had a week sick cover at group until this year!!!) |
