"Hamsters can’t vomit
That’s utterly weird and gross "
Yep lol. I only found out because my hamster ate something she wouldn’t of and I assumed it’d be fine because she’d just vomit it back up. How wrong I was luckily she was fine and on the bright side it meant I didn’t have to clean vomit up |

Balls can grow up to twice the size during sex.
In the Middle Ages, men who wanted sons would sometimes have their left testicle chopped off because they thought the right testicle made male sperm, and the left made female. |

I found lots of funny green slugs in my son's garden when clearing stuff. Apparently they are called tiger slugs and eat dead things and purify the soil. They also eat slugs who destruct things, so they're OK in my book, I left them be |

We are all insignificant, but oh so precious. " the nearest star is the sun and it 93 million miles away., so that equation doesn’t compute on your scale. As the sun is a lot closer than Pluto |

If the Earth formed at midnight and the present moment is the next midnight, 24 hours later, modern humans have been around since 11:59:59pm—1 second. And if human history itself spans 24 hours from one midnight to the next, 14 minutes represents the time since Christ. |

If a fire starts in a bale of cotton, you can't use water to put it out, because the water just stays on the surface and won't penetrate through the bale.
Instead they use kerosene to extinguish the fire. |

The Blue Marble photograph is the most reproduced photo is history. The photo was taken by accident as the astronauts were not supposed to be looking out the window or wasting film with “tourist” shots.
For me it’s one of the most awe inspiring photographs ever taken. |

A little known fact that it was taken using a Hasselblad camera.
Also little know is that my smartphone (OnePlus 9) has Hasselblad optics/lens in the camera. |

My favourite is this from Wikipedia.
"Mike the Headless Chicken was a male Wyandotte chicken that lived for 18 months after his head had been cut off. After the loss of his head, Mike achieved national fame until his death in March 1947. In Fruita, Colorado, an annual "Mike the Headless Chicken Day" is held every May". |
