"Airwolf for the theme tune knight rider cause of the hoff and there was more action.but not as good as the A team "
Interestingly, I'd vote *against* Knight Rider specifically because of Hasslehoff. |

"Manimal.
"
I doff my cap to you. Good addition.
I haven't seen it for decades, but going just be memory the cgi was great.
However, I'm sure if I watched it again now it would be painfully dated.

All good but Monkey was the one!!
Many a time my and my little sister would argue with who would be Monkey, Pigsy or Sandy and it was fantastic when we worked that you could remove the mop head from the handle and replace it without mum finding out.
A few sore knuckles but overall much fun was had |

Airwolf tune was great. But K.I.T was the real star in Knight Rider. the Hoff was just a supporting actor. |

I completely agree... lets just not mention the post-millenium remake |

"Airwolf but always had a soft spot for The Littlest Hobo "
Omg got that theme tune constantly going through my head now
"There’s a voice that keeps on calling me
Down the road is where I’ll always be
Every stop I make, I’ll make a new friend
Can’t stay for long, just turn around and I’m gone again.
Maybe tomorrow, I’ll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I’ll just keep moving on"

Wasn't the roll ball robot voiced by Windsor Davies at his most Welsh?
I think Star Fleet was at the same time. Similar show with a great theme song. |

The days before reality TV when rugged all-American heroes dominated the broadcasting firmament.
Men were men and women were largely objectified although now and again Daisy Duke managed to roughhouse a bit |

Stringfellow Hawk wins hands down for the OP. How can anyone not like a stolen mega helicopter leased back to the real owners because the thief wants to keep his art collection. Actually now i think about it, the premise seems a little wrong. Was good though lol. |

"The Dukes of Hazard
The Fall Guy
Starsky and Hutch
Cagney and Lacey
So many great American shows
"
Yes I much preferred those you've mentioned to the OPs three.
TJ Hooker I watched only to see Heather Lockyear and also Dempsey and Makepiece (well he was American but UK show) just for Glynis Barber. She was still gorgeous on EastEnders 25 years later. |

"No one else mentioned Auto Man? Was it far worse than I remembered?"
Automan was great, along with the other 3 you mentioned. I'd also have to throw Thundercats into the mix as well. Great theme tune also. |
