Britain will run out of bald men by 2138....

Experts have predicted that the nation will eventually run out of follically-challenged men as so many people are getting hair transplants.
The prediction comes as the number of baldies in the UK fell by more than 500,000 over the past decade with experts saying stars such as Wayne Rooney and Bradley Cooper have made hair transplants popular.
In 2012, there was an estimated 7 million men with either thinning hair or none at all and the number has now reduced to a little more than 6.4 million.
Electrical engineer Steve Graves is saving up for a hair transplant and is not surprised that the procedure is becoming more popular.
He told a newspaper: "I'm not one of those guys who actually suits a bald head. Transplants seem pretty successful these days and you can get it done from between £3,000 and £7,000 which I think is worth it." |

Yep, I couldn't care less. I prefer being a mostly hassle free baldy. Quick shave once or twice a week is much easier over shampoo and hair products and combing and styling and hair cuts.
I feel sad that people feel they need to do it but if it helps them be more confident and better within themselves then it isn't much harm done. |

Even if I could get my hair back by taking one pill with no side effects, I wouldn't. My bald head looks and feels better than hair ever did. And it's so much more convenient. |

Started losing my hair at 28 and within a few years bald bar the strip at the back and sides. Dislike being bald, but as I'm older now, hair wouldn't suit as false hair doesn't suit naturally balding men. So, now I keep it very very closely clipped. Being a retired expert peruquier I can always tell false hair. |

However, all the remaing hair covers my body. And is mostly dark. |

Im having mine done in November, ive noticed the last two year its started receding, i bic'd it during lockdown i looked terrible so opting for a hair transplant   |

I shaved my hair for about 10 years as a teen. I’m making the most of my hair these days so when it finally goes I’ll have to consider a transplant. |

Who are these experts?
Although we don't know exactly what causes male pattern baldness, we know it's linked to testosterone (or more specifically a byproduct enzyme of testosterone conversion to DHT)... I don't know how hair transplant or sticking hair follicles in your scalp, will influence the biochemistry of the body.
Than again, I might be wrong...I'm no expert |

No, you are totally correct. The body and looks adapt naturally. I stopped wearing my temporary toupee when it came of in a mountain spa in Switzerland on the water slide. Lol
I suggest thinning haired guys try Regain first. Cheaper than a transplant and not painful. |
