I own a Garmin S62 as I play golf it is fantastic and has so many unique features on it.

If you own a smart watch which one and why?

I've looked and still can't answer the why. What's the point? (Non sporting reasons)

Canvey Island

I have an Apple Watch, works with my phone and saves a headache.

Though learning to fly soon so will look at Garmin’s offerings

I am having a Garmin Fenix 6 Pro in white and rose gold. Not sure whether to have the medium or small size, definitely not the large as its too big for my wrist size.

I already have a Garmin watch (forerunner 35) which has pretty standard features but has been great as a first option.

I am ready to upgrade now as I am used to monitoring my performance as I run and evaluating it after.

I also am keen to upload routes and follow the plotted route as my navigation skills are quite basic. Having this function will be particularly good for me when trail running but also when I run in new places alone for example if I can I like to run a course route for an event in advance as a training run, obviously there wouldn't be course markers so having the route downloaded onto my watch would be a great help. For road races currently Mr NBVN drives me on the route and I memorise the turnings and identity landmarks before I practice run it. This all helps me to relax on race day and feel comfortable with the route, knowing where to focus effort.

NBVN x

Apple Watch for me. Mines just the SE with the larger screen.

I just use it mostly for the exercise rings and it’s handy for work so I’m not getting my phone out all the time on site.

local, but not too local

I had a Garmin Vivoactive HR for years. Eventually stopped talking to my iPhone.

I’m half-heartedly in the market for a replacement. I used to track long walks or rides with it, or do I just get a bike computer?

I dngaf about all the other features beyond heart rate and maybe nav.

I have the Suunto 5. I was going to get the Suunto 9 but I have got very small wrists and the 9 would have been too big.

The battery on Suunto is ace and I like the usability of the app.

It's not great at tracking open water swimming but very few GPS watches are.
