When reading profiles

Do you try and read them in the regional accent of the author or is that just me?

If I think the profile has been written by the male of the couple I read it as Michael Cain.

I'm actually rubbish at accents and Michael Cain impersonations so I've no idea why I do it

As a committed profile reader (seriously, folks, we should be the ones called unicorns), I find that I do sometimes read them in the local accent if they use the Scouse vernacular, especially in statuses e.g. propa fewmin/few bevvies in town/avin a ball wiv me girlies etc.

No. But I do give people various accents/voices when I read their forum posts and feel a twinge of disappointment when they don't match my ludicrous notions on how they'd sound.

The only people I know from Southampton originally came from Bristol so I'm afraid you have a mild West Country accent
