I always meet in a public place first meet, for a drink and a chat
I will play first meet if we get on and both want to but i always meet in public first then take it from there |

Busy coffee shops are good, often the chain ones - the staff are less likely to make friends with you and your conversations are less likely to be heard over backgrounds noise.
Pick ones with good transport links and handy parking.
Also go for ones that are not too far out of your way so if you get a no show or a cancellation you can simply have a coffee and carry on with your day.
