Hi All,
Just wondered whats the etiquette when messaging? Also, What do you like or dislike when you read a message?
Some profiles say... don't want endless messages, others say we want to get to know someone first... so how many messages before "shall we meet" get posted...
3 questions.. just interested in people's views on any or all of them.

Thanks for the replies.. I wasn't asking for advice just interested in people's differing opinions to be honest. And also just fancied starting a thread lol. |

Be original, relevant and have something to say. I’m always polite and I try to add some humour and don’t expect a reply or to be the receivers type, I can only speak from my experience. Happy fabbing |

Maybe there should be some clarity as I don’t know.
Eg - “Why do men always Dm me asking to wreck my back door in with a cucumber?
What if I had just sent that DM? How would I feel?
And do all men send that message?
* I’m sure this used to be against the forum rules.

If you were the kind of person that had feelings you woulyd be sending random people messages about vegetables and bottom wrecking.
If more people knew it wasn't acceptable to send this kind of stuff then it would make a better place for all. |

Don't follow a set format. It's fine to share your thoughts with the other party, without it being pressure - we'd never know others' feelings etc otherwise.
It's a dance, so allow each of you to guide the moves. |
