threads. Is that common here? I was searching for some threads I had started on things like hotels, restaurants and even recipes that others had made some great contributions to and all seem to have gone? Anyone can advise why? I thought that threads remain in perpetuity |

"Unless they've broken rules they will remain visible"
That's what I thought. I was looking for a recipe in the Favourite recipes thread and gone. Unless someone did not like mentioning olives, can't see how any rules were broken |

can you not trace them on the threads
on the 'view recent threads you've posted to', and you should be able to see that date of the last thread posted.
The admin police do remove those considered in appropriate. could be one of those? |

Sorry, I meant all it shows is the threads from last two weeks only. I am a bit upset as there were some really great recommendations there, not just from me but lots of other people too. We'll, cel a vie I suppose |

You need to have the thread title as something memorable.
Many people use random titles like "what do you think" and the OP is asking for recommendations on dildos.
Thread title "dildos"... OP is asking for utensils to stir soup with.....
I like your recipe thread. Can't remember what you called it though. |

"Have you searched using key words? Can you remember the thread title?"
Yes, it was called Favourite recipes and the others were called Best in series -
They were there a few days ago as I looked for a hotel in the lakes someone had recommended and also a recipe for Shepherds pie that was on. All threads I created or contributed for have gone except the last two weeks it seems. Perhaps omeone thought I post too much |

It's not this one is it?
that's it. Am I daft or what.Thanks.
I just put 'recipe' in the forum search
You're welcome "
I was using an extra s . I found the others too. It was Best of rather than best in. I feel better. |

Ohhh then they haven't been deleted they're just too old to be shown on your recent threads
Try and search for them by name |

When you search for a thread the results change if you press search depending if you’ve hit the space bar.
For example if you search;
What’s for dinner (no space after dinner)
What’s for dinner (space) then press search it throws different results up… |
