You didnt specify if the 19 year old was male or female but lets say female.
If it was a 50 year old woman and a 19 year old man, would that change how you perceive it (or i imagine) you see it as wrong ? |

Interestingly - I’m in a WhatsApp group with about 150–180 men and one of them boasted that he was cracking on with a 19 year old barmaid and he was 48, he was removed from the group as everyone aas quite shocked he thought it was ok |

How old do you have to be to be caused as a grown up? If you're allowed to vote does that not mean that society has given you the respect to make decisions which may change your life and if you can make decisions that can change a whole country, I think they are able to decide who they want to have sex with, which won't hurt anyone else.  |

There are so many variables on this, for example my 18 year old granddaughter still has a child's brain (brains fully mature at around the age of 21, the last thing to develop is consequence) and presents and acts very much as a spotty teen although she would eloquently argue this and insist she is an adult.
One of my shift leaders is 18. When I found out I was gobsmacked. She has the talent and skills in managing people and the workload that the 30 somethings don't.
I know who I would be incredibly concerned about if they told me they were considering interacting with a 50 year old man. |

19 is still a crazy young. Until you've experienced life outside of high school, in the "real world" you're hardly an adult. Regardless of what the law says.
That said,some people have different experiences growing up, so I guess could be mature enough to know what they're doing. I didn't at 19, actually I didn't util I was at least 22 after uni lol  |

Personaly outside of my preferred age range which would be 10 to 15 years younger than myself but still nothing wrong at all, in my opinion so long as both parties are consenting adults and are enjoying it should an age gap really matter? |

Legally no.
I made lots of decisions at that age which I cringe about, especially when it comes to sex. I also look back and think "yeah I was willing, but fucking hell I wish they'd been more emotionally intelligent than the confused wreck who was trying to work out who the hell I was at that time and done the *right* thing by me" |

I'm a woman in my fifties and no way would I sleep with a 19yo man. A few have asked. That's because one of my kids is around that age. And I don't find men that age attractive.

I would struggle to agree to seeing her due to the age gap.
I would probably want to talk in person and go from there.
My preference is 25 and up but more appealing would be 35 and up as they have lived their live and have the experience that becomes so much more appealing. |
