Have you seen the size of the modern curlywurly and no that’s not a euphemism, I’m old enough to remember I wasn’t allowed to run with one just in case I catch the old lady (again no pun intended) down the road with it, today I weep, less is not more, I feel violated by modern society, anyone else feeling like a revolution?? |

"Try a multi pack of double deckers. Stumpy little things now. "
4 for a quid seems like a bargain but once you’ve disposed of all the plastic the length of chocolate bar is less than the uk average. |

I bought a £1 price marked bar of Cadbury Fruit n nut today. It's so thin now that there are only tiny pieces of nut in it now as a whole nut would be to wide for the chocolate, it changed the overall taste so that's my last one. At least my waistline will be pleased |

Never seen a taz bar in years but I do see Freddos in the local shop was shocked when I had to hand 10p in the next day
As I had 39p change so thought I would get one till they rang it up at 47p |

Isn't it strange how all these things have got smaller but we are (as a nation) much fatter. This suggests that the amount of activity we do has dropped dramatically in the last few decades.

Freddo, curlywurly, all chocolate basically is shrinking not a bad thing.
As for price, you were ripped of in your shop for the Freddo. Direct from supplier works at 16p a bar or in some supermarkets a pack of 6 is £1 or in their 5 for £1 selection where everything costs 25p |

Sad but aye it pays to look around, shop elsewhere, for something that a kid likes, without having to take away the treat. |

"Wagon Wheels are worse ..
I swear they used to be the size of a bike wheel "
I heard the comedian Andrew Maxwell say he did a corporate gig for the confectionary industry. During his monologue he said "I just want to ask you something about Wagon Wheels".
He said the room erupted with vitriol. People were shouting at him "They were always that size! Your hands were smaller back then!" |
