On sheets change day it's time to crack out the flannelette sheets!
It's a bit parky jumping into my bed naked
And I've decided: time to get one of those hats with the ear flaps
What extreme measures are you all taking now the weathers turned? |

"I found myself lingering by the display of leccy blankets the other day.
But I gave myself a strict talking to and reminded myself I'm still young. Am I deluding myself or just depriving myself?"
If ya ever needs a 5' 7" hot waterbottle...... |

I should warn you: I know it's a woman's prerogative to have cold feet, but mine are superlatively cold for a surprisingly long time |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I have put a 10.5 tog duvet on the bed for the first time in about 10 years.
I have bought some very large fleecy 'lounge' wear to put on over my clothes for working at home.
If I get colder I may have to consider fingerless gloves |

"Levy blanket, fleecy onesie, huge dressing gown & bed sock! "
I don't sleep as well clothed.
And I don't sleep well anyway
Still got my summerweight duvet with just a coverlet and an underblanket to boost it.
Perhaps I should get a man in till spring |

Maybe - or maybe he'd just steal your duvet? |

I may have to consider a pair of shorts, but only thin ones! I am a 'hot' body (not in looks, just temperature :o( Sad but true!) so don't usually need extra insulation...

can't wear socks at night, have to stick feet out to cool body down (fuckin menopause), only have heating on for half an hour in the morning and windows open all day. I am sure I live in a sauna.... |

Get yourself a chillow. It saved me through the worst part of the menopause. I seem to have ended up feeling the cold now. That's not right. |

Avoid at all costs!!!
Just think of the 'electrocution risk' if - for some 'unknown reason' - the bed got a wee bit damp!! |

In which case I'd best start interviewing for the post if human hot water bottle.
Must not be a duvet thief, must be happy with a minimal amount of bed (both I and the cats starfish) and must be ok with being used to warm cold feet throughout the night.
Oh, and must be willing to service any and all sexual demands I have. |

Ahem. Some of us women are down south and some of us are known to get a tiny bit moist in the gusset area on occasions...
Of course you'd have to be fumigated first |
