So.... that time is fast approaching. The great unwashed all merging together on otherwise normally respectful towns and villages, ready to immerse themselves in music, comedy, sport, food, booze, and any other debauchery that may cross their paths.

What festivals are you lovely lot all heading to this year?

Me? I'm thinking just Victorious this year... keeping it tame and keeping an eye on the bank balance! Am certainly beyond the days of camping. If I don't do a B&B I'll be incredibly civilised and commute!

Three years ago I worked loads of them, I'm down to just Tewkesbury this year.

Boardmasters was my least favourite.

What was wrong with Boardmasters?

Huge, basic, money grabbing and massively expensive. But that's because I work them, behind the scenes is a whole different ball game.

Festivals. There a few real good tribute ones around Manchester. The biggest near me is Festwich and I’ll probably try to catch that sometime. Usual acts that are popular.

But there’s also Parklife. MCR. Some big acts have headlined. Last your a I think was New Order. This year? 50 Cent. and it’s well organised.
