No not the time. The number on the dial as per the legend that is Nigel Tufnel.

What tunes can you simply not listen to at a normal volume and have to dial up to the max, whether at home or in the car?

For me?

SOAD - Chop Suey

The Killers - Mr Brightside

Bullet For My Valentine - Tears Don't fall

Slipknot - Duality

Foo Fighters - The Pretender

And despite it featuring in more films that I can think of and being easily recognised by children everywhere.....

AC/DC - Thunderstruck

Coincidentally yesterday I got the urge for a bit of Tap. But it’s hard to find except on DVD. But I then found it only on the BBC i-Player although an initial search in there didn’t find it. Also on my TV google web browser it didn’t show as being on the BBC.

But I got to watch it on my phone.

Harry Shearer talks about it on the Rockontours podcast. “Hello Cleveland!”

Tbh anything by the Foo's needs to be played at 12.

A few from some different genres to the previous rock/HM I've listed have sprung to mind, simply because I've already blasted them out this morning whilst undertaking some very repetitive retouching work.

John Newman - Love me Again

NWA - Straight Outta Compton

Imagine Dragons - Radioactive

Calvin Harris - Blame

Massive Attack - Safe From Harm

DJ Fresh - Gravity

Oh - and Evanescence, Bring Me To Life - because, well......Amy Lee.....

Papa Roach, Last Resort. I was getting a bit carried away with it the other day in my kitchen, I turned around and found my 4yr old was moshing away with me. Put a massive smile on my face even though the song's about topping yourself

Although I do generally play most stuff at 11 because I have somehow managed to get into a sort of soundclash with the neighbours

Many years ago I was at rock oriented festival. The Prodigy came on playing smack my bitch up. That's how you convert 1000's of metal heads in 20 seconds. All the to 11. One louder.

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

Do you mean at volume or ast that time Op?

Any AC/DC track off "Black In Black" is good as it is a monster of an album & a classic!

My other fave. album is "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Joan Jett does a mean version of this track!

Other tracks:

Black Sabbath - "Neon Nights"

Waysted - "Heaven Tonight"

Waysted - "So Long"

Krokus - "Our Love"

UFO - "Love To Love" It's got a fucking gong at the beginning for god's sake. Then the slow build up, then the riffing! Then the ballad & keyboards. Awesome and it goes on for 7 mins or so....

Black Sabbath - "Planet Caravan"
