Most of the cars I’ve parted with went at a time when I was quite happy to see the back of them. The only one I would have back, if it could magically appear on my drive in the condition it left me in was a 1937 Ford Model Y. |

My Golf TDI, it was 18 years old and I bought it for a few hundred quid to drive while my normal car was off the road and needed a new clutch and gearbox. It was mint, I never had any issues with it. |

A man where I live sold his immaculate Sierra Cosworth privately to a collector for £70k about 5 years ago now. After it became a target for people wanting to steal it from where he had it stored! |

The standard tidy matching number rs cosworth are anything around 60k upwards.

First Car I gad after passing my test, was a company car, a Honda Integra. Built primarily for the US Markets, a few hundred in Right hand drive form made it to the UK.
Fully Auto, a beautiful car to drive. Had it for 3 years till I left that job.
Best Privately owned car was a Vauxhall Insignia Auto.
Best Hire Car I've ever driven (quite a few hired over the years!) - Saab. |

Nice! seems like anything with a Porsche badge has gone crazy the last few years, I know someone who has had a 928S under a tarp for well over a decade- even with the usual degradation of not dry storing them or driving them regularly, its probably worth more than when they covered it |

Nice! seems like anything with a Porsche badge has gone crazy the last few years, I know someone who has had a 928S under a tarp for well over a decade- even with the usual degradation of not dry storing them or driving them regularly, its probably worth more than when they covered it
Yes you couldn't give a 928 away few years ago , and even a bad one now he's 10 grand plus
Same with the lowly 924. 5 years ago was seen as a joke Porsche and you could grab a half decent runner for less than a grand- now even some of the rot boxes are fetching £3-4k on fleabay "
Try a 924 turbo, 25K plus |

"2 I regret
Alfa Romeo GTV
7 series BMW
But the car that holds my affection was a Volkswagen Santana that I bought with my last £ 200 when I was skint and it never let me down. Really saved my life that car
I've got a phase 1 gtv that I'm slowly restoring
Oh wow ! You got me horny and I didn’t even look at your profile lol
I absolutely love Alfa’s, missed that so much so that I have stayed Italian x its my 9th alfa, my daily drive is a 3 year old alfa "
Which one ? Giulia ?
Do you do the work yourself ? |

Quite a few,
Mk2 Escort - learnt to drive
RS Fiesta - first car I bought, and rolled
Sierra Cosworth - first speeding ticket
Discovery 200TDI - because I rebuilt it.
Soft dash Range Rover - because they’ve rocketed in value!
Jaguar XFR estate - amazing car
FSO Polonez - purely because of rarity, it’s bloody awful

If only I had stuck these in a garage somewhere I'd be a well of guy right now, owned all of the following at one time or another... MK1 Escort RS2000, Mk1 Escort RS 1800, MK2 Escort RS 2000, Datsun 240Z, Fiesta XR2I, ah well, it's only money... |

"Saab 93 convertible...such a lovely smooth drive .."
You can still pick these up for a pretty good price now. Used to have a 93 TTID sportwagon, lovely to drive but would have definitely sent it for remapping if id have kept it- can apparently pull well over 200bhp from that model in the right hands- which would make it rather a beast |
