I attempt to hug/cuddle my cats sometimes. One freaks if I even pick her up and the other with swipe at my face mid cuddle with no warning so it’s a bit of a lottery really. I’m safer going without I think   |

Confident cuddler here. Adore giveing and recieving.
I guess much stems from exposure to them in childhood.
Many shy away and are scared to show or recieve affection.
