...if I have a few nights without decent sleep I get really much more noticeable eye bags.

So the answer is, get more sleep but does anyone know a more permanent solution? If they're always there just worse with crap sleep

Ive been told surgery is the only way to get rid of them.

Tear trough might be an option for you.

I've heard really good things about The Ordinary caffeine solution.

I've never tried it as I don't get eye bags, but it's supposed to be amazing.

My mum used to put old used teabags under her eyes to reduce dark rings and bags It seemed to work. Also known a few friends to put Anusol Cream under their eyes, which is not recommended.

I though that this thread was going to be about special little pouches for keeping false eyeballs in. Or maybe real eyeballs?

I (M) have bags under my eyes, even when I've had decent amounts of sleep, eaten well etc. They developed when I was younger, having to work 3 jobs to be able to afford to.. well, to live I'm kids have/are adding to them. But they're part of me, just as much as stretch marks or calloused hands or.. I dunno, scars and marks or whatever. Or patches in my beard

There's nothing wrong with surgery or makeup or whatever. You do you. But I did want to add the option in that you can learn to love them. It's cheaper you probably notice them more than other people do anyway. And at least some people like faces that tell stories

?

Concealer definitely helps to disguise them. I use a vitamin C eye roller twice a day which is great for de-puffing, especially when it's kept in the fridge

I’ve seen a product on the tv for “My perfect eyes” that claims to reduce under eye bags but haven’t used myself but maybe a product you could look into on the internet x

I had eyebags under both eyes but the left was worse. I also had an entirely unrelated strange spot on my left cheek, it was skin cancer. The solution was to remove a 20p size piece of my cheek and patchme up.

Result, no cancer, no eyebag! But now my right eye looks worse!

So maybe surgery is the best solution but hopefully not for the wrong (or stressful) reasons

Some really helpful stuff here, thank you.

Also about learning to love them...maybe in time...until then, I'll be getting an early night after I've done the tea bags.
