Toothpaste, you filthy fuckers
My dentist told me once that you're not actually supposed to rinse your mouth out after brushing as you wash away all the fluoride that's meant to be protecting your teeth. I tried to follow his method for a while, gradually reverted back to rinsing out of habit, and just randomly remembered now.
The more you know |

Yep. I have expensive prescription toothpaste and I stuck to thay advice after she told me I was basically wasting my money if I rinsed after. I also avoid drinking for 1 hour afterwards. My sensitivity has improved dramatically. |

"My hygienist told me not to use mouthwash until about an hour after brushing for similar reasons. Every day is a school day! "
Same here. Brush teeth and spit the saluba/paste out, don't rinse. Leave at least an hour until using mouthwash. |

If you use sensitive toothpaste like sensodyne you probably shouldn’t rinse. Well, you shouldn’t really rinse with any toothpaste. You should also brush upwards on your bottom teeth sometimes rather than just side to side. Oh, and don’t use that corsoydl however you spell it as a daily mouthwash. You’re only meant to use it for a month or so. |

"I find colgate is far too minty to do this.
My new dentist says all dentists are right, it's the others who are wrong."
I had this issue in the past. Sensodyne pronamel and colgate ennamel repair are both quite mild in flavour. |

"Welcome to the club
I think I first heard this a few years ago on TV. Changed the game for me. "
I couldn't get used to the gritty feeling. But after my last check up I'm going to have to suck it up |

I’ve tried that sensitivity toothpaste. Can’t say I’m impressed.

I've always rinsed with a flouride mouthwash straight after brushing.
So far I've made it to 43 without ever suffering tooth decay nor toothache. I am missing a wisdom tooth due to a fight in my younger years but despite some staining from being a smoker my teeth are fairly good for my age.
Moral of the story: don't trust advice from dentists. After all, they only make money if there's something actually wrong with your teeth. They're like dodgy mechanics - even if there's nothing wrong they'll find something that is |

"What's the procedure for sperm? "
Rinse with mouth wash don’t brush.. you will open your gums to any left inside and higher the risk of infection. Not the answer you want but old tip from sex working days |

Interesting. I read the other day that mouthwash should be used first to avoid the washing away of protections the toothpaste is supposed to provide.
Very difficult to get out of old habits though. |
