How to reduce fake profiles on this site. Any suggestions?
Even the ones with photo verification could be sitting in another continent!
What we need is a six monthly MOT where we again upload our details and holding up a newspaper. Preferably page 3! |

Plenty of genuine active members not verified.
Plenty of people take a break of 6 months or more, there is more to life tha this.

I don't see why anyone should have to prove they aren't fake especially accounts that very obviously aren't.
Plus it's pretty easy to spot fakes if you pay attention .Too many suffer from fanny blindness though and ignore the signs of fake profiles then cry about it after. |

Presumably, as they say, the solution to fake news is to do your own research?
(The fact that most people don't know "research" from motivated reasoning while sat on the toilet, well, that's their own fault  ) |

Actually, I read the updates a lot and its getting far more frequent that people are slso not showing up for meets which I really don't get as its hard to get one agreed anyway unless of course they could also be fake profiles or the obvious attention seekers. |
