In past relationships I ( Jim) have said it lots but realised with Liz we don't need to we both know, yes we say it sometimes and it means more.

If I had a partner then no.

I think telling someone you love them everyday is much like swearing. When people swear a lot the swearing loses its power. But for someone who never swear, to suddenly drop a C-bomb after 5 years of purity, people are like "GASP! He must have REALLY meant that!".

However, any partner of mine would know everyday they were loved, because I'd show, not tell, them.

That's the point I was making you don't need to so when you do, you know it means something. It's like valentines we don't celebrate it as I would much rather have a bunch of flowers when the moment takes him, then on a day that he feels compelled to.
