Just started - can't believe it was made in 1979 - brilliant but very disturbing film. Feels weird to think that this war was raging when I was a child. Z

I agree, this is an awesome film. The soundtrack is pretty good too, especially the bit with the Ride of the Valkyries

up to 1.5 million civilians who died probably didnt see it that way..

let alone the military on all sides...
