It’s a simple enough mantra, isn’t it Fabsters?
Why then is it such a struggle for most of us to actually do? 
Is it a societal thing, the way we’ve been brought up, or something else?
I don’t know the answer. But I’m sure you lot do, so g’wan, tell us why you sex-obsessed deviants x   |

There’s loads of twattish behaviour around my village right now, antisocial idiots. Honestly for the life of me I can’t get my head around their thought processes.  |

Because sometimes people forget to engage the filter between their brains and their mouths, and just say whatever is in their heads without thought of the consequences, we're all guilty of it at some point or another and mostly theres no malice behind it, however it's just a little harder when it's in written form and can't be forgotten as easy as the spoken word |

If i know someone well enough and they are behaving like a twat then i will actually tell them so and call them out on being a twat towards someone else.
Main problem now is people are too worried about telling someone when their behaviour is out of order for fear of hurting someones feelings which is usually temporary.
Truth hurts sometimes but i would prefer to live in that world than the one many are stuck in now! |

It takes conscious effort to be kind to others, it comes more easily to some than others. Then there is the issues of, none of know what another person has gone through or is going through (not that that excuses dickheadedness). Also, when fad mantras take up flavour of the month it can make rather difficult to come across as genuine or sincere especially online.
**I felt as though I was on a roll writing this, but lost my train of thought due to a bloody big bee intruding in on my Kitchen..

We all have very different views on what constitutes being a twat, then we have different standards we judge people against depending on whether we know/like/fancy them or even in which arbitrary group we place them in.
Finally, and probably most importantly, we are incredibly good at confabulation and excuse ourselves for practically everything. I'm only being a twat because so and so deserves it. I'm not a twat because it wasn't my intention to offend. That's not being a twat, that is my humour/me expressing my opinion. That's not me being a twat, that's you being a snowflake etc etc.

Because this is a text based eco system, most people don’t conduct themselves in the same way face to face, because they can read each other’s body language, see when things have hurt someone’s feelings, feel empathy, feel the risk of saying something that may cause a flash point. |
