I doubt they're being deliberately rude or ignorant tbh.
Most likely just lazy, desperate and possessing some weird sense of entitlement.

I dunno if it's rude/ignorant. But I find it weird when people don't. Often we see some awesome pics, but then on reading a profile we're put off. So it's useful for filtering. |

Reading their profile that states “read my profile” then sending a message which clearly shows we have… our profile states please make sure you can string a sentence together and they reply with “Hi”. Just “Hi”  |

Fabs is a very casual, very busy site. It's an open air market, it is not a salon. I don't care if people read my (carefully crafted!) text or if they just fab my butt and move on. My partner gets a little enraged if people contact about things we've stated we're not into, he thinks it is disrespectful. I don't think respect comes into it, I don't expect anybody to give us more consideration than they're capable of. |

As for people "wasting your time" by not reading your profile? Just set up good filters and block prolifically. Don't even warn - on your profile or in DM. Just block. |

The only part that bothers me is they have strict profile rules that I read and they contact you first with the complete opposite approach, to be fair usually from couples in my experience. |
