So... the "hottest on fab" threads have spurred this train of thought... and I'm really hoping my painkiller addled brain can express it properly.
What makes a profile "hot"?
What makes a profile not "hot"?
Does a forum person become more or less "hot" depending on things they post?
Obviously this is entirely subjective, but I'm curious as to the opinions of individuals. So this is about YOU and YOUR views, not what you believe others think.
Thank you
Posh
P.S. I'm taking the sleepy night night painkillers now, so I'll come back to this to collate the results in the morning |

I think it can mostly be based on profile pictures. We're visual creatures so that is what will come across before we see what they say either in their bio's or in the forum's.
I'd say one of the main complaints thrown against men on here is lack of creativity in their pics which is a shame because self confidence allows you to have the courage to try and take a good pictures or think outside the box when it comes to pictures. It would be nice if it was just based on personality but physical attraction does need to be there to be considered hot in my opinion. |

Ahhh I don’t know…
Some stylised photos look really hot.. some comedy photos can be hot. Some really ordinary photos can be hot… But that’s very 2d and can be completely different in person…
Not a fan of graphic, action or genitals so that rules lots of people out straight away.
But a person that’s hot is someone that’s stood in front of me with charisma and mannerisms and a twinkle in their eye.
The people I think are hot here are beautiful souls that I also like to look at. I can’t box it any further than that. |

I think there's a general societal held view of what's hot. That translates to hot pics, who is named in the hot threads. It's not quite what's hot to me.
I'm probably similar to Saff in terms of how I view it - I don't find myself becoming a quim quivering wreck over some well shot photos and a conventionally attractive person. I can appreciate them, not knock them for it but for me, a person is hot when I've met them. Interacted with them. Seen their posts. Read their messages. Watch their eyes darken or sparkle. I find intelligence incredibly attractive. How someone carries themselves, the way they are to others. That's what makes someone hot in my mind, not their body shape or size. |

Hot or not hot is very subjective in my opinion - In a virtual world pics and the written word are your first impression, but until you exchange messages and meet a person face to face you can’t truly know if they’re hot or not as how they portray themselves is often soooo different to how they actually are in person. |

Often but definitely not always, I look like my photos and I'm just as sarcastic and delightful in person. I don't change my personality when I'm on here or say anything I wouldn't in person |

Hot
Good pictures.
Sexy as hell, I'm shallow.
Humour in their bio.
No other people in their pics.
Not hot
Other people in pics on singles accounts. You had sex, well done, if you're that proud hang them on the wall.
The "don't message me if......"
Far too serious profiles.

First impressions are key to finding someone hot and I guess the first instinct you get on fab is an attraction to someone’s photos?
Although spending time on the forums & reading what people have to say has caught my attention on more than a few occasions but not everyone comes in the forums.
Everyone looks at the world through different eyes so it’s always going to be different x |

One man's hot......
I look sometimes at the hit pics, and think, 'nah, not my cup of tea'. But I prefer more natural, chatty ladies instead.
Do I care if someone thinks I'm hot, or not? Not one jot |

A HOT PROFILE Is when it has some good pictures. I mean the pictures show that they are creative, they know what angles to take, they look good in them or filters. I went to art school, so I like that that arty farty stuff.
The text is captivating and probably made me smirk.
A profile that I think is NOT is when their photos don’t flatter them, and looks like they might update their profile later with some good words.
A person then pops from their profile when I read them, and what they say and how they interact with me and others. And then my rules are out the window. I then think the profile means nothing, THEY ARE HOT.
*there’s some hot profiles on fab and some hot people in this forum for sure. |

Why I look through the hot photos, which I think you can gauge if a profile is Hot. There seems to be a common theme, female, young, slim, and they spend their time gaining followers (friends). Pictures are usually soft (lingerie, boobs, everyday). There are exceptions, but this seems the norm for Hot photos. |

Hot for me is a guy in a suit….. looks good in it, has confidence, manners and respect … who’s bio reflects his witty personality. Who comes across as a magnet that reels you in
I’d go with similar sexy pics of guys too, even if a suit doesn’t feature.
NOT HOT is cocks through open flies pics , covered in tattoos, bald and those who come across as needy, seek constant validation, who are arrogant
That’s just My opinion anyway .. |

For me is a mix of a couple of nice cock photos and an effort of the profile blurb. Doesn’t need to be an essay, but be informative and tell something about the person.
A hot cock photo that Gives me the hots immediately are those were the cock is coming out from the side of their boxes wow .. should not be a floppy one, never understood why men take photos of their floppy cock |

A hot profile makes me want to jump into the pictures with the person. It is mostly the pictures that make it hot for me, but if it's poorly written or if they come across as unpleasant through their bio or through forum posts I'd not be interested.
Humour and intelligence are a great way to hook me in, and make a person, who might not be conventionally hot, very attractive to me. |

Hot to me is a good profile, not ranty or demanding, one that conveys a little about the person and intrigues me. Having a touch of self awareness. Good pictures that show them off, not just the same angle or body part.
Not is an aggressively demanding, negative blurb that indicates arrogance or expectations of being chased. Having those security write ups are a huge no.
Thinking about it, there are actually quite a few things that potentially put me off a profile but expression of their personality and humanity (however that looks) is definitely hot |
