For the day, what are you taking with you and what do you do when you get there?

Paradise, Herts

Big towel to sit on. Bucket and spade. Change of clothes and I’d have a bag of chips on the beach

Find the nearest chippy and hide from the seagulls

Then equip myself with armbands, rubber ring and snorkel before going for a paddle

Then go find the ice cream man.

Build a sandcastle

Find the doughnut man

Collect shells

Find a hot dog man

I live 5 minutes walk from the sea, so probably just a blanket and a book.

I would hate not living near a beach.

Our dog, spare clothes lots of towels.

We'd paddle in the sea with the dog.
