Do you drink?
I mean on a normal basis, just at home, not nights out.
Last year, due to personal stuff I drank far too much,
. When I was putting baileys in my 5am coffee I figured I should change things!!
Since January I just have one bottle of wine a week, but the last few weeks it's crept up to 2 bottles. Just on a fri-sat.
I should buy smaller wine glasses than maybe one would suffice?

Very little these days. I drank a bottle of red one night in the week just gone, the most I have since christmas.
I average not even one alcoholic drink a week over the year.
Not always been the case. When I was 18-23 in the military and had little to do in the evenings, everyone went out, 7 nights a week. 200 units a week wouldn't be unheard of. |

Typically i have 2-3 bottles of red during the week, tend to go to my local fri/sat night but drink craft ale there.
Its not set in stone, some weeks i wont touch a drop.
During lockdown i was sinking a bottle of red every night... habits creep in very easily. |

I am the exact same as you OP. I work Monday to Friday and lucky I have control of it to not drink on the so called school nights, but come Friday and Saturday I go through 2 bottles of wine and about half a litre of Gin over those 2 days. I live on my own so ,I just enjoy it I guess while listening to music x |

"Never get round to drinking at home usually too busy, cupboards are full with untouched bottles of drink.
Save the drinking for a rare night out. "
Same here, we have a cupboard full. |

I don't. I've had one alcoholic drink at home since I moved the psycho dwarf out of the house, and that was this week, not alone.
I also don't drink when I go out really, have had 2 occasions in the last 6 months where I have and that'll do me probably til December if at all again this year.

For the past couple of years I drank ever or every other night. Not healthy for my mental state (I was going through a lot)and my body. I gained 2 stone and a tummy. weekdays 2/3 cans. Weekends. Bottle of wine and cans or rum.
Earlier this year i curbed it. I cut down lots. I might have one or two in the week and a few drink on a Friday or Saturday. I don’t get pissed anymore as I’m passed that.
Don’t let it get out of hand op, and by knowing it already is a good thing. Just cut down. Or share a bottle with a friend, you only have half then |

You just had to slip Wrexham in there. |

Pre-pandemic I would have mostly 1 bottle a wine a week at home (not including nights out) during the pandemic it went up to 2/3 bottles a week a home. Lately it’s maybe 2 a week |

We only tend to drink on a Thursday eve, Friday and Saturday night. If there is any left we finish the bottle Sunday. If its a special occasion, then will drink at other times.
Like you we have noticed that the amount we are drinking is increasing, instead of 3 bottles we are now on 4.
Not had a Baileys at 5am, unless we are still up from the night before!

Hardly ever. Sometimes I'll think about having one if I'm not working the next day but usually I forget or I have to turn into a taxi service for the kids!
I have a friend who drinks 2 bottles of red every evening. Don't know how she can walk in a straight line tbh I'm a bit worried about her |

I mean I'm ok with what I drink. I eat fairly healthy, I workout, sometimes...
I think I should probably go back to just the one bottle a week though.
Plus I actually rarely go out, I had a couple of nights out drinking a month ago and that was the first time in years.

Well we are starting to feel that we may have a problem. We don’t drink on school nights, however, come the weekend we easily get through 6+ bottles of wine (potentially 9) plus cocktails if the sun is shining then shots in the early hours. Hope this makes you feel better Op |

I rarely drink at home on my own. It interrupts my sleep pattern and I feel groggy the next day.
Occasionally I'll have a margarita, or, if I'm feeling extravagant, a minin bottle of champagne in the bath if I've had a particularly busy week. |

More like how many boxes of wine
We have a drink most nights. Sometimes it’s a small glass, sometimes none & occasionally we have a bottle each. We like a drink |

I used to drink a fair bit but when I separated I decided not to drink at home as I thought that drinking alone might not end well. My alcohol intake has plummeted and I now find I actually don’t really like the taste. If I do have a pint or two when I am out then I really feel it the next day. |

I’m a binge drinker and will drink all sorts on a night out. Living on my own, lockdown taught me that drinking at home is totally pointless and I’ve knocked that on the head. However I’m currently staying in hotels a lot with work and finding myself having a couple of pints most nights just to fill the time… |

If you walked into my house you would think that I have an alcohol problem. There's various spirits, Guinness, a dozen cans of bitter, and 14 bottles of wine.
In reality, I have one bottle of beer on a Friday night, as that has become a tradition in memory of my friend who did so before he passed away, but apart from that I rarely drink at home. I did have a large whisky last night, though.
I need some lady to come and offer to help me drink the wine. I'll provide cake and a good natter in return. |
