I get that F1 is big business and money talks but as a fan I am wondering if it is too early in the season for Red Bull to tell Perez to let Verstappen through today?
As a McLaren fan it would have been nice to see if Perez could have held Verstappen off. |

Yes and no.
I want to see drivers racing but with them both being on different age tyres and with Max having DRS issues they weren't really racing each other, just potentially holding each other back. |

I understand that but they were far enough ahead of Russell that they weren’t under any real pressure. At least let them try for a few laps. |

"I think they should have let them race and who ever is ffasterif makes the over take then fair play don't like them just handing over the position "
Max was faster.
Checos point was that Max made a mistake and he shouldn't be punished for Max's error
Cars too similar and teammates already competitive does lead to crashes and that's too costly, both money and points wise. |

Let them fight on track - if Max is faster then he will get through. Checko has shown he can hold Hamilton off last year so it would have been a juicy battle for at least a few laps and they both would have played fairly as they knew the cost. |

Surely they race as a team, it actually makes the most sense to back the driver with the best chance of winning championships to ensure they always get the best haul of points possible. Imagine losing out on a championship by one point because you didn't let your number one driver pass his team mate.
