Go in then, give me your best one to save me an hour of searching

A few provisions though:

- No Horror films

- No stoner/stupid comedies

- A good story with some humour in it

Think In Bruges, Seven Psychopaths, Snatch, Burn After Reading, JoJo Rabbit. Those kinds of films.

Hit me!

It is. No humour though.

For Ritchie with a bit of comedy you could always watch his King Arthur flick. That's quite good as long as uou ignore the terrible Beckham cameo.

It's better than the reviews, trust me. Some typical Ritchie humour and Charlie Hunnam is as good in it as he is in The Gentlemen.

Horrors can be great, if done right. All these stupid jump scare ones people love (insidious, conjuring etc) are for kids. Anyone can make them.

Give some more creepy/unsettling one’s a go. I’d recommend It Follows and Hereditary

by the big field

If you can find it, The Straight Story.

True story about an old guy travelling across America to his brothers funeral- on a lawnmower. Doesn't sound thrilling, it's not got any car chases, sex scenes or fights in it, but it's beautifully written and acted.

Alternatively, A Single Man (Colin Firth & Julianne Moore). Again, brilliant script, exquisite set & styling, awesome soundtrack (Well you wouldn't expect anything less from Abel Korzeniowski)- a bit dark and a few twists to keep you hooked.

As you also mentioned In Bruges, Another good Colin Farrell film is Phone Booth- testing out the genre of can you hold almost an entire film in a single location...and doing it pretty well too

Or his In Bruges Co-star, Brendan Gleeson- The Guard. Pretty much hits the 'Good story with humour' request squarely on the head

Two suggestions if I may:

Then have a watch of the original 1970's version of Rollerball
